Stephen has over 16 years of experience in the human services field, 13 of those working with individuals with developmental disabilities. It is with deep, heartfelt gratitude for his 43 years of service, that the Board of Directors of Avenues to Independence announces Robert Okazaki’s retirement as the President/CEO. The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that, with the assistance of Kittleman & Associates, they have appointed Jason Clark as the new President/CEO of Avenues. He joins Avenues in that role on October 5.

Thanks to everyone who has expressed concerns for the folks of Avenues during the current COVID-19 outbreak. Through the work of our direct care and other staff, Avenues has weathered the first wave of this pandemic. The residents and staff who had tested positive three weeks ago have completed their quarantine periods; no additional symptoms have arisen and we are keeping our fingers crossed that the worse is over.
