This Christmas Eve, Avenues’ Staff and Clients, along with Holly Santelli of Ash and Willow Salon in Park Ridge, were featured on CBS Channel 2 News. The segment celebrated the 15+ years that Holly and her team have generously provided free haircuts to Avenues clients. The story highlighted our clients, who shared how impactful these haircuts have been in helping them live with dignity and independence.
This news feature is yet another example of Avenues’ dedication to building community. This fall we recognized Holly and Ash & Willow with the William and Jean Knaack Spirit of Avenues Award at our Annual Dinner, and this segment was a wonderful continuation of our effort to shine a light on Ash & Willow’s impact at Avenues.
