Direct Support Professional-Developmental Training

Great opportunity to provide day training for adults with developmental disabilities in a work  environment.

Provide training and supervision on light assembly, packaging and other contract opportunities.  Must be able to move contract materials and provide for daily recordkeeping.  Participation in individual planning and other meetings related to individual programs will be necessary.

Regular hours will be Monday-Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.  Requires HS diploma and experience working in social services.  Additional training is required and provided by Avenues to Independence.  

Direct Support Professionals must meet the required standards set by the State of Illinois, for training and background checks.
